To me fair to the motley crew, I think they were all still reeling from the massive thunder flash grenade equivalent I’d set off in the tunnel!!

Oh yes, loud doesn’t really fully explain, let me give you an idea ….

I was at the back, in the tunnel when @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman gunned it and at some top end revs there was an explosion 💥!

I was 3 cars behind and I could feel the vibration from Dave’s car!

 

earlier in the day, Stu found his 10mm spanner he had misplaced. It was in the rear bodywork where I indicate with the arrow! Unbelievable it had stayed there since his build!

Really great run out today. Many thanks to @Rob Hunter Derby & Notts AO for organising and everyone for meeting up at such short notice. Great to see a few new faces too.

So what is the verdict on The Bull Yard / Bull i Thorn place? good food? worth going back there? the paint was still wet when we called in a few weeks ago.

 

Here in Snowdonia the Llanberis Pass is full of Caterhams! not that I have a photo, but here is my cars bed for the night.

Saw some Caterhams coming through Ashford-in-the-Water this afternoon. We gave them a wave and they didn't wave back, but the McLaren group behind them waved and gave thumbs up so that made up for it

 

Also, thank-you to whoever picked up our drinks on the tab at the pub, I will have to buy them in return next time out

The savoury food was pretty good, the Yorkshire pudding wrap with roast potatoes seemed to go down very well!

 

We didn't see any cake though 🤷‍♂️

I flashed ALL the Caterhams and they ALL flashed and waved and thumbs up, loved it, lovely to see so many out. Don't think there will be so many today now the weekend has passed.

I think we all need a definition of ‘flashing’ at @Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative . Just to clear things up. I only ask as it would appear that no one is willing to ‘flash’ at @Labrat

@AndrewBClarke I am pretty glad the Caterham drivers didn't 'flash' me, luckily I just waved at them so no flashing involved on my part, or Gemma's I hasten to add 😄
