This doesn't sound like the sort of comment I want to hear....

Does this relate to yourself Richard or friend/family??

Me, been going on a while, but with my dog issues I had been putting it off. GP yesterday and going back in an hours  time for bloods and other tests. Not exactly how I planned life after dogs.

So this cause has got even more personal!

Just replied to your PM Richard.

Take it easy and keep us updated as and when you feel up to it.

You strike me as a positive person.

Yes.  It affects all of us directly or indirectly (took both my parents and my grandmother).  Bad enough when it happens later in life but it seems so rough when it strikes youngsters.

Very kind Richard but no need.

We will smash this easily!

Still have 2 and half weeks to go and I'm sure we will get some more kind donations afterwards.

We're awaiting our T shirts from the charity so once they appear I can get some pics up and I will keep you all updated on and during the day.

Too late glen 😉

So then.....due to a certain person and another kind donation we have  now achieved the target!

Having never done any fundraising like this before as I'm normally donating to others I'm now thinking increase the target again?

As a Works Team effort we're still waiting for a response from the company as to whether they will match the raised funds.

Hope no one feels I'm badgering you all?

I'm doing the same via Facebook and as I said I've never done this before so I intend on doing the best I can!

Thanks again everyone.

I certainly don't feel badgered in the slightest, and I'm sure others feel the same.

I await hearing how you go on. I don't think you need to increase the target as such, just let it take care of itself. It won't stop people from giving just because you have reached any particular target, if people see a worthwhile cause and someone making an effort to help, then they will be delighted to see the target overtaken.

Another 2 donations have been received and I believe they may have come from more members on here??

If so thanks again.

A little update from Lily's Dad:

"Lily had one of her regular scans a couple of weeks ago and received the results 2 days ago and the specialist seems happy so far. They did comment that there is a dark area around where the tumour was and they refer to this as a 'halo' which is caused by the radiotherapy and they also commented that as they hit her hard with it they would expect to see something still."

She will continue you to have scans to monitor the tumour/brain every 3 months until she is 21 so still a long way to go before a normal life can be had but she is also grateful with what has got right now.

He is overwhelmed with the support so far and even more so from people he doesn't know and probably will never meet.

Yet again, thanks everyone!
