Problem renewing membership (two accounts with shared email address)

Hi @Mark Redpath - WSCC Membership Secretary,

I manage and pay for two separate memberships (two account usernames but one email address). These are separate rather than a joint membership. Every chance I am missing something but I am struggling to logon to renew my dad's membership (he doesn't use the forum and I manage his membership for him).

I used to be able to switch between accounts as the logon was based on usernames (rather than email address). I think the forum has changed since last year as I have not had this issue before. FYI, my dad's renewal email came to me because the email address for both usernames is mine.

I can't seem to logon as my father anymore as, when I use his username @pinniwa it says to use an email address and when I use my email address to logon it logs me on as me @BillyPee without giving me the option to choose the username associated with the email address.

If I could log on as my dad, I would just change the email address to an alias of my email (so that it is different but would still come through to my inbox).

If you could let me know how best to proceed, that would be great.

All the best,

Bill

Yes, you can no longer use the username to log in. For security reasons we had to switch that off.  That means you can not have two identical email addresses on different usernames.  Both those usernames have a different email address though, so I can not see why you are not able to log in as both.
