I won't be able to attend as an important event on TV at 1pm is forcing me to stay at home with a couple of beers 🏎️

Good news is the move isn't happening until early Jan so will be able to make it out on the next one.

Thanks everyone for letting me know if you are coming or not, I wondered if there was much interest for this rather strange event and your comments encourage me 👍

It is a little unfortunate that such an exciting F1 is on at the same time, but life is for the living and telly will get watched later, avidly.

Ooo, here's to a great Santa Run with lots of daft laughs and let's hope all the kids enjoy it as much as we do🤩

Well it started wet and ended wet but the sun came out for a cracking run. Many thanks to @Julie Hall - Joint Peak District AOThe looks on everyone’s faces as we paraded through the peaks was well worth it. Both my kids had a great day out too.

My camera has a leaky lens cover so most of the footage is no good but I did manage to catch the Peaky Polar Express as it set off.

That’s one to recreate when he gets his own membership!

He wants one with a booster though like @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Secretary apparently. 🤦‍♂️

The loop around Bakewell (no sound because the YouTube copyright police moaned) and the arrival at the Peak railway.

Longer version to follow

Thanks for organising Julie.

A great day out indeed, thanks @Julie Hall - Joint Peak District AO for organising, @Trevor Little (Trevturtle) - AO Representative for the company and helping my pad out my Santa suit with donuts, and all those for participating so well! 👏

Speak to Trev, he's got a much better book of excuses, and would have managed to put an 'S' on Weekends 😉 Sorry we won't see your Santa themed car (and you !).

What can I say, I'm a busy man.
