HB46443
Looking forward to the run out today in the peaks! Especially as I will be debuting my New livery. This is just for you Alistair Smiler Jones. Think you are onto something? 5
NigelO
I'm really jealous to be missing this one - probably the sunniest Sunday of the year so far. I only got my bodywork back on Friday afternoon - tub is already on the chassis, but still lots of work to do to get it up and running. Hoping to have it done by the end of the month. Have a good day

Rob Hunter - Club Secretary
Great to see you all this morning, sorry I couldn't get out on the run.... probably just as well, as 10 miles from home the clutch pedal decided to not operated the clutch any more 😂 Luckily my late father had taught me to clutchless change as a learner driver (which seemed sheer torture at the time 😂) so with a carefully planned route (avoiding traffic lights!) and starting her in 1st I've managed to limp her home.... investigations are about to commence! 🤦♂️
Stuart
Hope it's easily fixed Rob. I didn't stay for lunch as I wanted to get back for the GP. Traffic was horrible and I had to give the old girl some stick when I could. Walked in halfway through the formation lap but needn't have rushed. Thanks Julie (and everyone) good fun as always. Too hot on the way home to Worcester though. I was baked after 2 hours in the car and my phone actually overheated and shut itself down! Didn't know that was a thing.....

Thanks, looks like the clutch master cylinder had thrown a wobbler, so have a new 0.625 on order from compbrake 👍 @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AOhas changed his and the pedal weight is much better so it was on the upgrade list anyway 😂
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
A load of us have done them Rob. It should be how it’s done from the start. Transforms basic drivability of the car.
Popular Post Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative
Thanks for coming everyone, nice to meet all the new faces and I hope everyone managed to get home safely without cooking too much. We had the 'Andy cake off' and without a doubt it was Andrew-ABC who was the winner, with Andy-aeg coming in second, leaving Andy Westwood a challenge on his next visit. The boyish good looks will have to be on top form, oh and ordering a double sized piece of cake helps too. Here are the rest of my photo's, please add yours too. At Fairway's Garden Centre, Ashbourne our meeting place this morning. Thank you to Dave and Ian for trying to sort out my engine woes, I think you are right about the air leak on the manifold, there is a big sooty section on the right throttle body. Good job Ian has 3 arms and can be a brolly dolly as well. We went our run out on the back lanes of Dove Dale which were just wonderfully empty, skirted Bakewell to finish at Quackers Cafe for cake. Our resident cat, Bagpuss, was missing from Ian's bonnet today, good job that I dressed accordingly, although I don't think I would do well on the bonnet! The Westfield Tractor, like a Lamborghini one only better Another cracking Peak District run out, thank you for joining us and hope to see you next time XXXXXXX 10
