Steve (sdh2903)
Amyone been watching? Half way through the series and really enjoying it. Even the mrs is loving it and she hated TG/TGT. Clarkson a bit more himself that in previous shows (but still the buffoon at times, but less obnoxious) however the real stars are Kaleb and Gerald. If you've got prime well worth a watch. The sheep episode had me in stitches.
corsechris
Really enjoyed it. Kaleb is a star…and he’s absolutely right, **** the sheep! I can only imagine just how much Mr C has p******** off the neighbours with his shenanigans over the years though.
Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO
Watching it now. Kaleb tells him how it is, not starstruck. I know it's probably staged and scripted to a point, but he does seem to be trying it for real.

Yes I'd agree it does seem that way and I was genuinely surprised at it. I fully expected him to be just nobbing about for the sake of the camera. jeff oakley
Watched it all and it is probably the second best thing Clarkson has ever done. The best was his documentary on the raid on the submarine pens in the second world war. In this series he really does want it to work and it shows just how hard it is to make a living from a farm these days. Kaleb, really does not give a damm who Clarkson is or what he is worth, he knows more than Clarkson does about farming and is not afraid to say it how it is. Apparently nothing is scripted as such but edited well afterwards. there are some real laugh out loud moments when everyone is telling him what a dick he has been and he knows it. I really hope that there is a second series and that Kaleb does not change one bit
Stuart
Watched and really enjoyed them all last week. Apparently the whole area was gridlocked as soon as viewers saw that Jezzer had opened a shop
Nick Algar - Competition Secretary
Started watching it at the begining of last week and just couldn't stop, the whole family felt the same. All laughing at Jeremy being himself and such an idiot at times. Absolutely brilliant, mainly for Kaleb and the others, who are so honest. Famer friends just love it, has shown the crap they have to put up with.
jonjh1964
Only the second time I've binged watched a series in my life - I watch all 8 episodes last weekend and found it compulsive viewing, perhaps the best thing I've ever seen from Clarkson and for the most part I enjoyed TG/GT. There are some follow ups on youtube one with Clarkson submitting is application for Farmer of the Year and another a quiz with Kaleb based on the show. There's also Kaleb being interviewed on GMB(?) where he gives short thrift to a Holly W question that she would have know the answer to if she'd watched the show - Kaleb at his brutally honest best. Rednop1
His chats with Gerald cracked me up.
Glen_I
Gerald.....what a character! I thought it was a great show also and does highlight the issues surrounding farming (I come from a farming background), but it was good to see Clarkson being more human/compassionate and less off blundering muppet! Steve (stevel)
Been the highlight of my tv viewing for months, binged the 8 episodes in 2 nights wife thought I was having coronary when Gerald was in the combine harvester talking on walkie talkie, Clarksons face🤣🤣🤣 Steve
Paul Aspden (MoFast)
I must admit I watched this end to end over two nights. The idiocy was not necessary in my opinion but it did serve as a really good platform for highlighting the really tough job that our farmers do. For that I applaud as it’s high time we saw how hard it is.
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
This series has been bobbing about as a recommendation on my Amazon stream, since it came out, must admit to having just ignored it, not really fancying the sound of it. After all the comments on this thread, I started watching three of the episodes last night, and another two tonight, what a fantastic show! One of the best bits of telly I’ve watched for ages. I’d totally agree too, some of Clarksons best work since his military histories. What a great recommendation!
