Blimey, the way we are going everyone's getting a pound, never mind £50 😄

Well if you are a user, is there something I need to put on the signup form to tell them that a fellow user recommended them, in order to qualify for this 'refund' ?.

M&S use Octopus 🐙 🙂

Thanks Dave, I worked out how to qualify a recommendation via @corsechris 's sig link thingy. Octopus have a new customer...YAY.

Sorry EDF, you just were not good enough - must try harder...

My Good Lady has a Nissan Leaf and although I am currently (!) on Shell I may well look at Octopus when the fixed term ends with Shell. Lots of Leaf - and other EV - users use Octopus because they have/had a very good overnight economy rate for EV charging provided you have a Smart Meter (shudder..). We do so few miles at the moment that changing and caving under pressure to go 'Smart' isn't worthwhile. The daytime rates on the EV friendly tariff are not that good. Time will tell.

Yeah, I read that on the plan choices page, great idea and perhaps more companies need to adopt that plan, I just went for the normal one since I just have a dinosaur burning machine 😄

I'm the last person to ask about overnight charging of electric cars but surely the up and down flow of electricity production means that 'giving' away juice overnight makes great sense for the distribution companies.

Bit late now, all setup. I think ALL suppliers have had a big increase this last quarter, been reading energy sites all day.So yours going up will be what some are quoting now and theirs are increased already so I read it.
