Richard (OldStager) Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 I'm just posting what I watch,I'm no expert at all. Quote
Blatman Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 https://www.foxnews.com/health/is-covid-19-vaccine-effective-if-no-reaction-experts All the sources I have seen say differently. Reaction is no gauge of efficacy. Quote
Richard (OldStager) Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Oh well I'll keep me mouth shut then , odd how one place says one thing and another different. 😃 Quote
Kingster Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 This was given to me - it’s info direct from AstraZenica themselves so if only around 1 in 10 get side effects then do the rest not have immunity? (just asking, not trying to cause agro 😁) https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/regulatory-approval-of-covid-19-vaccine-astrazeneca/information-for-uk-recipients-on-covid-19-vaccine-astrazeneca#possible-side-effects Quote

Everyone will be different, but for those that do get side effects it's likely to be more effective that's all I heard. All good here.😀 Quote

Debate is good. But so far I haven't found a single source that backs the suggestion that no response = reduced efficacy. Quote

(just asking, not trying to cause agro 😁) Immunity builds up over 21 days on average. You're likely to have side effects (very quick response) if you've been exposed to some level of viral load previously, perhaps asymptomatic exposure. However, these are generalisations and the whole story is a lot more complex.... Quote

No worries Blatters, to be clear, all I post is what that Doctor on YT shows when proving evidence, there are loads of studies now and some may differ from others, and that's fine. I would just like too see both sides proof. Quote
Kingster Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Anyway - my arm has just started aching ever so slightly- so I’m ok! 😜 1 Quote

I've been Googling for half an hour and I can't find a single source that supports that hypothesis. And as many of the folks around here will atest, I'm pretty good at searching Quote

This is the good thing about science it changes when new evidence is found, once peer reviewed it becomes accepted, I have no issues apologising if what I think is incorrect - thats how science works, and you be a fool not to accept the latest theory. Quinten Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Having had mine (AZ) last Sunday, I suffered from a feverish feeling all day Monday, followed by a headache all day Tuesday into today. I've sacrificed myself to be 1 of the 10 so you don't have to 2 Quote
