Had a short break in St Petersburg in the late 90's and our hotel suggested they could arrange a sight seeing tour in this.

 

Politely declined.

Having sat in a few different helicopter types from the good old S61 to the latest S92 I preferred the Puma to anything else at that time The 225 was better comfort wise and slightly quicker on crew change day( going home at least). The S92 is IMHO the most uncomfortable journey in a chopper ever, dare I say it worse than the Chinook! Very interesting link though and hopefully they have indeed eliminated the cause from future aircraft but knowing the mentality of the offshore workforce( well most of them) if they do indeed return to service they will not like it one bit .......
