DickieB
If anyone needs an excuse for a day out, I'll be doing some pre-season testing at Llandow on Sat 7 Feb. Hopefully arrive at about 9am, test from 10-2 (minus lunch break) and then head off home. It's only £65 for 1/2 day (any 3 hrs between 10 and 5 less lunch) or £120 for whole day. Trouble is you need a race licence not a non-race one. Anyway, maybe see some of you there? Rich Brown
adhawkins
Was seriously considering coming along (hoping to get along to Llandow either for SS or perhaps a track day this year), but unfortunately it conflicts with a visit to Debenhams (which I could change but only if I want the Welsh Wizard to call off the wedding... ). Maybe see you at the Highwayman in Feb in any case Dickie? Andy
DickieB
Sorry, can't make Feb meeting. I am meeting the Club Chairman in Prague that weekend. Oh yes and some other mates, one of whom is getting married a week later.

Blatman
Do you know any places you can test with out a full race licence ? IIRC, your non race nat B licence allows you to test at any race circuit that is holding a test sesion........
adhawkins
Trouble is you need a race licence not a non-race one. Not according to Dickie's original post. Andy
DickieB
I have always had my race licence checked prior to testing, and they have always said that a non-race is not good enough. Could be individual places that let it through, but chances are they all have the same insurance. By testing I am talking about allowing timing and overtaking anywhere anytime, as opposed to track days that do not allow timing, have strict rules about overtaking etc. ....that and give jamie a shoeing Isn't that Steve's resolution? Mine is purely to keep it on the black stuff! Yeh right.
Jan Coombes
Well maybe it is true, rang Silverstone and they take any msa licence. So just need to check to see if they do this at Snett or Brands.
