Sorry for the late cancellation, I am glad you both got out anyway, it was just lovely. As Glen and I were not contacted by track and trace we went for a late afternoon wiz round, no stopping, no toilet even!, and came home without going near anyone just in case.

I have no idea how long it takes for the track and trace system to catch up with you, so I am hoping to try again next weekend, can we have the same weather please?

Nice to bump into you @neptune.

It was thick fog when I set out at 8am. It had cleared by the time I got to the Peaks though. Came in from Macclesfield and the Cat and Fiddle and out via Glossop and the Snake Pass. Thought I would stop for a bap and a brew at the butty van in the lay-by on the Snake Pass and it would seem great minds think alike.

FYI, there were signs up that the Snake Pass is now shut for 2 weeks for landslip repair, so bear that in mind if you venture out that way. I expect it'll make the alternative routes a lot busier too.
