Popular Post Rory's Dad Posted June 13, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 13, 2020 Well - I've only gone and done it! The Westy is still for sale but I've now bought a mk1 MX-5 which has had a 3 litre Jag V6 installed courtesy of Rocketeer. It went in at the end of March and I got it home on Thursday - it's just amazing and under such difficult circumstances Rocketeer did an amazing job. The standard of design and workmanship is truly wonderful. Rocketeer's work is carried out in Hungerford by Bassett Down Balancing. I went down there with my trailer on the back of the VW, picked up the car and drove it to my brother who lives about 10 miles away. The drive there and then back to Hungerford on Thursday was truly memorable and will live with me for ever. There is a great winding road of about 5 miles down into Hungerford, the roof was down and the exhausts (courtesy of Cobalt) were just howling... Happy days!! 11 Quote

Rory's Dad Posted June 15, 2020 Author Posted June 15, 2020 Recovery of my right eye is just fine but eyesight still a bit wonky. Need a few more days for it to settle down. Poor photo of engine bay but it's just georgous!! (Sunshine in the way)! 9 Quote
