Gents,

Anyone got one lying about before I phone Westfield on Monday?

Looks like they've got stock and they're not too expensive!

It was way way more foggier than that when we were there!

Key thing is momentary action @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO, i'm sure @Westfield Parts Dept will help me source a switch.

I’m assuming you’ve read our guide in the Start Line, to who supplied what to Westfield:

Quote

Electrical

Maxparts (Switches, wiper kits, lights electrical sundries, - many of the small parts, in fact) Tel: (0)1252 512 148 sales@maxparts.biz

Spoken to them, and been unable to obtain the switch?

They’re Lucas, Mini (old BL version) rocker switches. But I think the momentary version you need is a modern combination, so not normally listed on most Lucas stockists sites. You might have to phone up and enquire. Alternatively, buy the windscreen washer switch, which is momentary. And then swap the printed switch coloure bulb for m the fog lamp switch into it. (This is all the manufacturer will be doing, just mixing and matching the parts they make.)

I tend to use Merlin Motorsport for things like the standard rocker switch versions, but lots of places, Car Builder Solutions, Denton Tweaks as well as loads of specialist for classic cars, (the old style Mini connection) sell the basic switches.

- it might also be worth enquiring through Mofast, if Jase has had any luck sourcing items like that.

Let us know how you get on, would be handy to know if they do supply the switch, as it’s an unusual version.

Max parts came up trumps ... happy to deal with the public, not happy with westfield.

Hopefully he will get back what's owed.

Lovely guy and i believe he supplies all the switches and lights to/used to westfield.
