just a thought

is it possible to put some spring washers on the bolts 

I am going to jack car up and check the other side driveshaft and paint bolts but if it makes it better to fit them then I will put some spring washers  on whilst car is up on jacks 

but if its something that should not be done please advice before I do it 

and if its better then maybe  for everyone  at some point to do it thanks

Ford used a special washer as shown above, (plus thread-lock), If a much cheaper solution, such as a spring-washer was as good, that’s what Ford would have used.

I dave is it the washers that look like  a banana shape with the two holes at either end shown on page 3 if so 

whats stopping the bolts still spinning with these in place I must be missing something   do the plates bend over at ends but that would be ok if they are hexagon heads

the bolts I have are round allen type  so drawn a picture  to show you my thoughts  

I am sure there will be a simple answer that I have overlooked so can you give me the know how  thanks john
