Going tomorrow for a day/night and have done zero research.

Suggestions on on what to see / do and somewhere nice to eat...

Yes.

You must go to Trinity and see the Long Room. Takes my breath away every time.

Food and atmosphere at the Café en Seine is superb.

The Literary Pub Crawl is pretty good if you like your Becket.

AirBnB - definitely bargains to be had and some stunning roof top pads!

If you like your alcohol, the Guinness factory tour and the old Jameson Distillery tour are well worth the visit. Definitely book those in advance though or you'll pay way more and queue for ages.

Temple bar is tourist town - I'd recommend avoiding the centre of it for anything more than a walk through. If you want a decent pint in a real Irish pub, I'd recommend the Stag's head.  Lovely place but usually fairly busy.

Can't remember if they do food, but there's no shortage of places in the area to eat.

Just nearly stood in some craic but thankfully avoided it.

Ended up booking Sole on south William street which has just won European seafood restaurant of the year so hopefully will be good!
