Bristol and Bath Meet Thurs 7 March

Helloooooo, first call for the next meet for Bristol and Bath area.

Thursday 7th March 7-9pm at The Riverside Inn, Saltford, BS31 3EZ 

The landlady is a very onside petrol head who used to modify and race Nissan GTRs! 

Thursdays are quiet so we can have the place to ourselves and talk all things petrol based! 

Post Easter, the Pizza oven will be running outside and Open for business. 

There is also possibility of camping in the field next to the pub/river for the summer months? 

Anyone else going to Castle Coombe on 23rd March to watch the Speed Series - or any local drivers for us to cheer on?

Good idea Chris.  I have a super busy work day then, but I certainly hope to be along to join you.  My Westie still off road, so may be on the push bike ... (insert cycle emoji of your choice).

Maybe. I used to be about 2 miles from this venue but now its more 40mins plus traffic so 7pm is difficult.

Thanks for the heads up, for future reference I am open to ideas to rotate the venue across the Bristol & Bath Area to ensure its fair and even for people to get to?

Any ideas for other meet locations?

Yes, I'll be there.  My Westfield is still in pieces at the moment so it'll probably be tintop again.  I'm nearly there with completing the winter mods but, blimey, it's nearly March!

That's great at least 2 of us going to Castle Coombe from Bristol & Bath Area with Cotswolds attending too. Might be able to get a decent parade and photo - I'll bring the Banner/Flag!

Just realised I am due to be flying back from Glasgow at the time of the meet so wont be there this time!

Awesome, that makes 4 Bristol & Bath Westies on the 29th! Be gentle with me as this is my first Track Day and first outing 'in anger' with the new car...I'll just follow....

I could do with so top tips for Track Day Prep?
