Well I have had Naff All communication from Westfield Sportscars! I think I've placed an order for a set of Powerflex bushes which their website said were in stock - at least PayPal tell me I've authorised payment for them!

???@Westfield Parts Dept???

I'm not surprised at all. Completely rubbish customer service at best or maybe financial difficulties within the company at worst!?

It's disgraceful how they repeatedly treat customers and I've reached the end of my patience with the Parts team. My last email regarding the order (which I was promised in 2 weeks and is now past 4 weeks ... without any calls or emails to explain why until I contacted them today) included their complaints and MD email addresses although I doubt much will come from this judging from my experiences with their Parts Department!

Interestingly my wife has suggested I inform Trading Standards about the false advertising on their website (this is the second time I've ordered parts that are "in stock" when they obviously aren't) if only so the senior management & investors start taking notice. Doubt it will make a difference but I'm going to speak with my local CTSI office tomorrow to see what they suggest.

As I write I can still order the parts I've already ordered and the website states they are in stock ... and I know for a fact that that hasn't been the case for at least a month now!!!

My first and only (so far) experience of the Westfield Parts Department was the entire opposite

I called last Friday to ask about why the carbon silencer with fitting kit was "in stock" and the silencer without fitting kit was "3 - 4 week lead time"

I got a good explanation (to do with the link pipe), so I checked my car on Friday evening and called back on Saturday to place my order.

Yesterday, I got another call from Rich to double-check and to explain that they would be willing to split to fitting kit from the silencer and sell me just the silencer, Money taken, parts shipped and should be delivered today

No cause for complaint from me

I guess it can be a mixed bag.  I've placed a couple of orders over the past few months on things that were marked as 4-5 weeks lead time (trying to get ahead of the curve on my build) only for them to show up two days later.  That doesn't excuse the experiences others have had - managing stock levels shouldn't be quite that hard - but I guess it can work both ways.
