WIRRAL &  NORTH WALES TRIP TO WALES (YDG) 2018
This year’s date for the diary is Friday 27th July - Sunday 29th July, with some of the best roads and fantastic scenery this one is not to be missed. The overnight stop is again at the Highland Moors, I have spoken to Sue and have confirmed there is availability for that weekend. You will need to book the hotel direct, this is because a different rate applies for a single/double/triple room, when booking please say you are from the WSCC,

Highland Moors,
Wellington Road,
Llandrindod Wells,
Powys,
LD1 5ND
Tel: +44 (0)1597 825151
Mob: +44 (0)7826 226857
Email: sue@highlandmoors.co.uk

The starting point for the friday is 8.30 am  at :

Tudor Rose

Parkgate Road
Ledsham
Ellesmere Port
CH66 9PD

The first stop will probably be at the Ponderosa cafe for breakfast an opportunity for others coming from other directions to meet up.

Cheers

Yes I do.

The YDG is always the most popular weekend that the Wirral and North Wales area organise. It started 12 years ago as a 2 day trip, then 3 days, when we found the Highland Moors. The hospitality shown by Sue and her family is immense, as is the breakfast, full Welsh. Nice that we are doing an evening meal with them again, spoilt for choice as always.

Hope the Ridgebourne pub up the road is open, they do a mean chicken madras, and a nice pint of Carling.

John.

The Ridgebourne pub, I wonder if Cheryl  is till pulling pints behind the bar?

Last time we went there they went to the garage  across the road for some lager, think the pub has been sold now....
