Andrzej Posted May 22, 2022 Share Posted May 22, 2022 Few pictures (hope not too much, but hard to decide, like all pictures of Westfields ) and onboard from first and one so far in-Westfield-trackday this year, but June is looking to be more busy. Sadly no podium, I was placed in the same class with Formula Renault 2000 (two drivers) and Radical SR8 (kitcars are so not popular here, that some Organizers treat them as "bolids" , " proptotypes" etc) . Radical best lap 1:37/38 , Formula one driver 1:43, slower driver 1:46 , mine best lap 1:51,4... so huuge differnce. What interesting such formula is not much lighter (490kg) than Westfield, and with similar power (190hp) . Radical ok , unbderstood almost 500 hp, aero, racing crew, fresh slicks, telemetry , racing driver, etc. But similar parametrers formula ? Wonder how look laptimes in UK where open-wheelers like such formula compete together (well the same day maybe not in classes) with Westfields and other 7-type cars ? this was fast track (almost 200km/h on straight end) promoting less drag,, turns not so fast for aero to work so much i think (?) Must try harder next time it cant be aero and drag only which makes such big difference. Wonder if I could go lower with ride height when looking at pictures ...
