Blatman Posted January 22, 2003 Author Posted January 22, 2003 Looks like I'm never gonna live that one down....... I think I still owe Rocket Ron a gallon of '5' star too.....
Blatman Posted April 23, 2003 Author Posted April 23, 2003 This once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase this soon-to-be-a-classic Ford motor vehicle still awaits some lucky punter..........
chrisbin Posted April 23, 2003 Posted April 23, 2003 You know the problem Blatters......you keep putting people off the idea of using a Ford V6 in a Westy...........
steve_m Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 You could always build one yourself Blatman, eveybody has to upgrade at some time . . .
Blatman Posted May 11, 2003 Author Posted May 11, 2003 Cheek...... Oh yeah, price is now £400 ono, 'cos it hasn't got any road tax anymore.........
steve_m Posted May 12, 2003 Posted May 12, 2003 I was tempted, would make a good tow car. If the gearbox and 4x4 system is the same as the Cosworth 4x4 then post a for sale ad on the Dax classifieds. They still sell the Rush Quadra which uses the Cosworth 4x4 mechanicals and although the engines seem reasonably easy to get the full gearbox and diffs are thin on the ground, certainly as a complete set.
Blatman Posted May 12, 2003 Author Posted May 12, 2003 I don't know if it is the same 'box/4x4 system. I'll have to do a search somewhere.......... Thanks for the tip......
