Rory's Dad Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 The Sigma engined Westfield had a shorter prop so brought the engine back 3 or 4 inches. That will help with the height too. It's a very light and nimble car. 1 Quote
Rory's Dad Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 ...and has an ali bell housing, cable clutch and type 9 too. Quote

Steve (sdh2903) Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 Ooh nice is it the 1.6 or 1.7? What's the plan carbs or bodies? I had a 1.6 puma brand new back in 2001 through a company car scheme. It was great fun and can only imagine being great in a 7 with a bit more power. Look fwd to seeing the swap Quote

Look fwd to seeing the swap It's the 1.7 and I already have bike carbs for it. No rush to install, want to prepare as much as possible to limit down time. Quote
Thrustyjust Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 Kevin, do you have to mod the sump etc ? Quote

Sadly Justin, I will be investing in the Caterham sump kit to help with clearance. Pricey, but seems to be the only option. As to the rest, will know better once I have the engine out and start taking measurements. Quote
