Meet at Halfords, Ashbourne, DE6 1DU 10am dressed as Santa, that's you and your car, you must have a tinsel theme, the more lights and laughter the better.

We will take a route through villages to wave a Merry Christmas to all, calling in at The Travellers Rest, Bradwell, S33 9HG for lunch and finishing in time to get home in the light.

NOTE TO OTHER AREAS, AO's AND MEMBERS - this idea of Trevturtle's makes for a fantastic day out, so please consider trying it for your area, just don't forget to post your photo's so we can all enjoy them. T'is the season of goodwill etc.

Who is able to join us this year?

Santa Glen and Santa Julie, in the green sleigh.

But if we’re home before dark, how do people see the lights on our Christmas tree’s? :p:d

Fingers crossed, I might be able to make this years run.

Santa Andy_R reporting for duty :d

Although I seem to recall having to drive through the a*se end of Rotherham in the dark last year so I do question about getting home in the light :d However it was a fantastic day out so I'll be there unless the weather is wet.

Sorry to say that I won't be able to make the Santa run this weekend

My steering column is still giving me some grief and I don't want to risk anything happening on a long run until I'm happy it's all working correctly.

Enjoy the trip out and please post LOTS of pictures.

BTW: If anyone needs a Santa outfit I have a good one that will now be spare.

Thanks @4 WAK hope to see you both soon.

Oh no, Roary the Racing Sleigh is broken  what a shame, you looked so brilliant last year, in fact only last weekend we were only talking about your TWO Christmas trees on the back of your car, which was quite a sight.

:westy: :yellow-westy: :dg-westy: sleighs so far, anyone else dare come along?
