Slight thread drift, heard a new one yesterday. It's not really a TLA but it made me laugh. Can anyone guess.

My favourite one is KISS, Keep It Simple Stupid. It is the one thing that every business or technical course should drum into all attendees. Bosses make a career out of over complicating every single thing they can, from system to hardware. Just because you can does not mean you should load every feature into everything.

In my last role as an electronics manufacturing engineer, KISS was my primary principle and I was forever fighting the graduate designers over their desire to overcomplicate everything.

When you have  set size for a PCB, you might as well space out your component layout and use components of a reasonable size to make production simpler and rework easier/faster, but no it's got to be components the size of grain of salt, all bunched up into one corner of the PCB, why? because they can and they don't care about the consequences because they never have to get their hands dirty.
