Sparkymart Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I'm after a new rear view mirror as my current one is a small 4" one from halfords And makes thing look small ,it's got a suction pad to stick it to the screen but it keeps falling off I like the look of the 14" longacre ones but they are seem to be cage mounted which is no good for Me I also need to keep the window frame free for the half hood So any ideas would be helpful 1 Quote
Murraymint Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Have a look on the Westfield site...they have one not cheap but does the job... Quote
TAFKARM Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 That's you tried running with side mirrors only? I've got some decent convex lifeline ones and never even think about having a central mirror... Quote
Steve (sdh2903) Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 This is the one Westfield supply but for less than half the price. It's a genuine lucas item and is quite large. I had a cheapo one but wouldn't stay attached for more than a day. This ones solid. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw=322481315303&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.X.TRS0&_nkw=322514371731&_sacat=0 Quote

Deanspoors Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 If you run a care the longacre ones are brilliant. Quote
Rory's Dad Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 I'm OK with just the wing mirrors. My JKs (and I guess some others) leave a such a narrow slot to look through. Quote
SootySport Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Just don't buy the ones Craig Hew has.http://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/topic/124663-rear-view-windscreen-mirror-drooping/ Quote
Sparkymart Posted May 31, 2017 Author Posted May 31, 2017 I've got a plan... I've got a phone holder with a Very compact adjustable clamp to hold phone , it's never dropped off the screen and even when you release the suction it's a struggle to get it off the screen So a 14" longacre remove the mounting arms and just clamp it in place with the phone holder....
