Kyle
I'm gutted my car isn't built for this year but the car will be done for next season even if I have to stop working and socialising with the misses and friends.
Captain Colonial
OK folks, here's the list you've been waiting for, your 58 runners and riders for the 2017 WSCC Speed Series (sorted by class, novice / expert, and with T-shirt sizes added just to wind up people): I just wanted to say "good luck" - we're all counting on you.
maurici
Look at that... I'm in the best class to win... Only with one outing and I'm done. I'm wondering if i should buy different tyres... What are the main difference between claas B and D? So. I mean... Can i be in class D with a zzr soft without logbook and Hans and in date harness? B.RAD
Hi Maurici As i understand the rules, class D for westfield is roadgoing with the ability to use list c tyres. However, and it's a big however, most (i think all) of the organising clubs/events will class anything with list 1c tyres as modified production, so you will therefore need the full cage, MSA logbook and Hans device to run in the event, on the day. I thought you already had a hans device though? Logbook is easy, just call the scrutineers out with a wad of cash (£45 if i remember right) and job done. It's all explained in the blue book. Hope that helps pal. Barny

maurici
Thanks mate. Well, as I'm not going to do the full season, is not worth the trouble but no doubt I'll have to swap class in the future if B keeps being the ugly duck. I do have a Hans but i hate it. I have to try this híbrids posh systems to see if they are any better. I thought that for having a loogbook on date harness and seats were mandatory... Anyway many thanks for the explanation!

No need for you to run in a class on your own Maurici. The regs for classes are the technical limit for that class not a requirement, you could join us in D with your existing set up. Class D allows tyres from list 1a, 1b and 1c !!!! So long as you are Road going with H pattern gearbox and no fancy electronic driver aids you'll be very welcome From the times you set last year I think you'd do very well in D and show us ( we'll me for sure ) up on our 1c's.
Captain Colonial
Updated list - looks like Maurici need not play alone... Matt Hillam has also entered Class H with a second car, as well as being in Class J2. Now with added Tigger to add bounce to this year's Speed Series!
