maurici Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Even I am well used to go to test facilities and when I saw Mira in the calendar I thought it was a bit weird... I just thought that "England is different" and assumed that everything would be a bit more flexible the day of the event. But after receiving the final instructions... I've seen that no!! Is exactly the same stuff that if I was going with any manufacturer as a customer. No cameras. No spectators. No exit once in... How strict are this rules there that day? To be honest... I'm really wondering witch is the point to go to race there. Probably everything was written beforehand in the regs... And I've just ignored it. I'm a bit surprised to find this... Quote
XTR2Turbo Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 MIRA is a great little circuit. They will ask you to tape over the camera on your phone with a sticker they provide and you get escorted in a convoy to the paddock. That's about it. You can spectate but just say helping car x not spectating etc Go and enjoy Quote
1959grantura Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Going to be by first sprint in years and years , funny enough was the first ever sprint I did and it doesn't look like the track has changed at all from the map. Always had great days at MIRA looking forward to it 1 Quote

Maurici Just consider yourself lucky that I'm competing at Harewood next weekend, otherwise I'd be at MIRA and they don't call me "Rainman" for nothing Quote

John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Don't worry about the wet either, Mira has a special surface ( delugrip) or something like that, amazingly grippy in the wet and the standing water by the speed trap A nice fast circuit though and very fist pumping when you hook a good one up Quote
maurici Posted May 4, 2016 Author Posted May 4, 2016 weather looking good so far where? My wheather guessers are a bit pesimistic! Quote
