lizzy brice for 10 then head through forth to bigger for 11 and then to Abbington for about 11.30 and hit the Lead hill . should we book a trip down the mine its about 6 notes a head ???

Trip down the mine would be good but I don't think I'll have enough time for it that day (need to be home sharpish). If you guys do it though, no problem.

mine trip takes about half an hour so I may book it for one  o'clock

The mine tour is about £4 - I have been before, and its worth doing if time permits.

Times for the mine tour seem to be 12:25 and 13:55 from the website http://www.leadminingmuseum.co.uk/

 

There is also a good cafe, toilets, plenty of parking etc at the museum for those not doing the mine visit.

 

Looking forward to a good run out in my back yard!

I'll hopefully make this one.  The mine tour takes about an hour as they take you down through the old village and the old restored miners stone house first. I did it a few months ago so I'll just head back with Matt when he leaves.
