That prompts an interesting question Del

Sometimes we get forced into a Sport Libre Class on the day even though we run in Mod prods!!!!!

I think it is the vehicle that determines the requirement, not the class you are running in.

A bit like when we are roadgoing and were forced into Mod Prod due to no standard windscreen - we didn't need to comply with Mod Prod vehicle requirements.

But I am sure our resident expert in all things Blue Book (NIck Algar) will add his opinion soon.

They have to be a minimum of 4-point now (but I expect yours will be) for Road Going Specialist Production and Modified Production.

That would be the argument to use.

But I can't think of a reason for you to be moved from Mod prod to Sports Libre in the first place, so if someone has please let me know and why.

The Mod Prod classes and described as " Modified production Saloon and sports cars " rather than specialist production cars including kit cars!

I think it was the same last year

It run by BARC Midlands with their own numerical class system  ---Have a look at the other thread in this section about Rockingham

Last year classes 8,9 and 10  (to MSA Regs S12) specifically excluded Kit cars and we had to run in classes 13 and 14 ( to MSA Regs  S14).

Looks like its he same this year

We are often put into Sports Libre by organising clubs. Borough 19 is one!
