There is a museum that has some bits of Lancaster in etc. Only open in the summer though.

I spotted the Canadian Lanc flying over Cadwell Park in 2014. It did a couple of lowish passes.. no idea where it had been..

RAF Hendon is excellent too.  I went last year for a nephew's 5th birthday.  Great day out (and he enjoyed it too...).

 

For planes in action, I was blown away by how much there was going on at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford.
