I find short bursts with the mig torch, maybe 2-3 secs helps stop a glob of weld forming and even worse dropping.... ow...ouch!!

I find superglue is good stuff.....or you could enlist your local welder Mr jemison, you could probably drive the car to him.

Congrats to John on his first FTD, well deserved, you're on fire this season! Also thanks to the organisers who put on a good event despite the low entry, and everyone around the paddock who helped make it a top day Great to put some names to faces and see a couple of familiar ones too.
