Decided to sell as started to look at different projects. The car is well known in Speed Series, She is a factory built wide body car with fixed arches in post box red as per pictures below- Built in 1997. Paul purchased the car from Terry Nightingale cars which makes me the second owner, I purchased the car in Nov 2011 Spec as follows; Engine; Vauxhall XE 16v 2.0L with baffled low sump pan ARP Rod Bolts Piper Fast road cams Twin Webber 45s Webcon ECU New Vernier pulleys and timing belt kit New valve guides SPD Stainless Steel Exhaust Repackable carbon fibre silencer Rally design oil catch tank (Alloy) Facet redtop competition fuel pump Gearbox; Aluminium cased Quaife 5 Speed straight cut gearbox with long 1st gear (50MPH) Alloy bell housing New competition clutch (QED) Quaife quick shift leaver Viscous LSD fitted 4.4:1 CWP Suspension; Cat Motorsport quick rack and widetrack front suspension with rose jointed adjusters Disc brakes all round Cross drilled and lightened with Greenstuff brake pads TSW 15" Alloys recently all fully refurbished 195/50/15 Toyo 888 Medium compound- Plenty of tread left in them Front & Rear adjustable anti roll bars Avo dampers with bump rebound adjustment Bodywork; Good condition for year of vehicle with a few age related marks RAC Roll Bar and battery cut off switch Removable Steering Wheel Westfield adjustable seats Carbon Fibre stone guards on rear arches Carbon Fibre Sill protectors Playskool Rear diffusor New Playskool 4 point harnesses (3") Aeroscreen Carbon Effect mirrors New Redtop lightweight racing battery Bad bits; Cockpit carpet needs some attention (Sorry Paul- One detail i didn't get round too!!) My next mod would have been to update the dashboard which is easily achievable. Paperwork; Build Manual and all receipts from Pauls and my ownership for works carried out over the years including all upgrades(Plenty of reading material.) Taxed for 6 Months and MOT November 14. Car will come with original Westfield windscreen/mirrors/wipers/wipermotor and tonneau cover. If asking price is achieved will include 2 new matching TSW Alloys with brand new unused TOYO 888 Supersoft. Vehicle is located in West Sussex and available for viewings. If I get time to spend on it, you may even see piccys of a familiar car on the annual Scottish WSCC run to Applecross at the end of June - a quick 300 mile 'test' run!.
