Captain Colonial Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Not getting into the knighthood debate, but would rather see Murray get one than someone who has done nothing more than give £1,000,000 plus to a political party. Quote
clansman Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Superb. Deserved. Earned. Respect. Class. Champion. Elite. Only thing that irked me was seeing our elected servants, Cameron and Salmon, in the box watching it for free, especially Salmon making the most of it politically for his independent Scotland agenda. No place for politicians. Probably a lot more than them "free loading" to watch the game when there were hundreds of true fans not able to get a ticket................ Quote
Young Pretender Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 My legs were like jelly before the game, god knows what his must have been like. His girlfriend is stunning. I had it in my head that he would propose if he won lol. Wouldn't let that one slip through the net Quote
Scottish Bloke Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Well done Murray. I've read via another site he's donating the prize money (1.6million) to cancer research. If thats true it's a fine gesture Quote
