jeff oakley Posted May 28, 2013 Share Posted May 28, 2013 I think it is sad they way it has gone but if we take the cost of the event, Silverstone will sell out at £145 plus. My Daughter went to the Malaysian GP it was £60 for a grandstand ticket, for all three days and there were plenty of seats spare at that. F1 has become a sporting tick box, like the FA cup or Henley, many don't care about the racing it is the motoring equivalant of WWF. So long as they see a spectacle it is fine. But for the true fan we want the things that Bernie lists, drivers should be driving without aids, without pit radio etc, it is making drivers less necessary to the function, races are won by boffins with lap tops and weather men.
