I got my spacer bushings made by a local machinist. So then one can choose proper height (different as different is position od harness holes in different seats, runners or no runners under seat, lowered floor or not etc. Worth to make it that lenghtm so harness is not in contact with opening in seat or at least smallest angle possible. Eye bolts are in different lenghts so no problem . It’s an easy job for them (lathe operator) , and you can pick stainless or regular steel. I also went a bit thicker than the ones I see in the photos here, just to be on the safe side.

I love the eBay description: “No Suspension or Chassis Damage. The damage is only to the high level bar on the entry area of the passenger side” Is that not the chassis?
-
My nephew did something similar to his Caterham and it was anything but an easy fix, not least because of getting a chassis of the correct vintage with the correct fittings was challenge to say the least. It wasn't cheap, either.

I would like too see it repaired for a grand How much is a cat silencer from westfield these days £900ish ?

WESTFIELD Xl 1330cc, Weber carb, piper cam, metallic green, for sale
p k replied to p k's topic in Westfields for Sale
Will need to store it for another 10 years for that option -
Ahh, TVR Glen! The tales I could tell you about him and this operation... if I weren't on a public forum and those comments would unnecessarily land me and the club in a courtroom... Allow me to say something that I can say without that happening: MANY OTHER PLACES TO BUY A WESTFIELD ARE AVAILABLE - SEARCH THEM FIRST BEFORE YOU BUY

i did see this advertisement on facebook as it this company has lot of cool but damaged cars in stock. They said they could repair it for £950.00 too.

KX19DZU The registration of my damaged and written off car in bold, so hopefully no one is caught out. I've just been made aware that the car is currently being advertised on FB and Ebay as an Easy Easy Fix! I drove the car home after the accident and the steering wheel was out by a good 45°. It also drove strangely as if it was crabbing a bit. There was damage to the N/S floor, transmission tunnel, scuttle panel and dash support bar. As well as the point of impact at the N/S doorway. I believe the chassis to be damaged and bent. Whilst I'm sure it is repairable, I think the quoted damage has been underestimated. It's is good though, that they are offering to Mot it for you. Again hopefully no unsuspecting person is caught out. https://ebay.us/m/wpcykc

Thanks, please let me know. I might also be interested in the doors as well. Mine is a wide body so I think the doors would fit.
-
I’m not sure if they are the same for all but I’ve got a roof for a narrow body, I think I’ve got a set of doors as well I’d just need to double check as they are in storage

The wireless headsets are available fairly cheaply now, moman is a brand iv had that did not break the bank, added bonus of when in the car on your own you can have music for yourself too! No wires either but more fiddly to set up.than a wired one -

I bought off eBay for £11.50 to give it a go when take my daughter out in car. Hard to hear her with helmets on. she only with every so often. For price it’s worth a go. I didn’t want to splash out on wireless set. As she’s not out with all the time. I love the Retro packaging. -

As part of the club's 40th Anniversary I think the best way to celebrate is to drive our Westfield's, so why not join Glen and I for a drive around the Peak District. Meeting point details and route plan will be posted on here the week before, let's invite the sunshine too shall we?-

The gearbox was fitted to my Westfield 2.0 Zetec by Toybox Specialist Cars. The original box in the car had seen better days apparently so Toybox fitted a newly fully reconditioned standard ratio box. It has done less than 200 miles before being swapped out for a BGH box with better ratios and because it was fitted without a bellhousing gasket. The pictures clearly show condition of internals and recently resprayed case. Collection only due to weight! South Yorkshire - £650

@Captain Colonial I suggest then, you don't tell your doctor that you've got a pain around the entrance of your back passage....................as his reply is likely to be "as long as you use it as an entrance, you'll likely have problems" !- 1 reply
