Blyton 18th& 19thMay 2019   Well after a slow start to the season with low numbers of drivers this event proved very popular with 9 Westfields and 4 Class J2 single eaters taking part. Blyton weekend 13th/14thJuly 2019   As usual the trackday on Friday was well attended and most people were very happy with their track time and the open pit lane as well as the tuition package offered by Alan and Nick Mugglestone of Triple M Motorsport. Tel's Tales 029– Snetterton Weekend Sprint 2014 Saturday For me this was a new venue and the weather for the weekend was perfect with it being dry and warm during both days. TEL's TALE's 067/16 Aintree 25/06/16 Introduction Well Aintree is not one of my favourite tracks since I went bike engined a few years a go. With only 69 ft lbs of torque and a long, long straight its hard to get good terminal speed especially if there is a headwind......and guess what we had one so target times were going to to be very very difficult. Wiscombe 2013 Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April 2013 The Woolbridge club had done a superb job in preparing the paddock and track for the event. The conditions were almost perfect, a bone dry and clean track combined with sunny but cool weather. Tel's Tales 040– Thoresby Park 13th & 14th Sept 2014 Well here was the weekend I was not sure whether to compete at. Despite its great scenery it is a tricky, very tight track and atrocious in the wet due to the overhanging trees. Actually it stayed dry but overcast all weekend but even so the damage to cars, particularly bodywork has always been a bit more than other venues and the water/sand filled barrels and large hay bales don't take any prisoners, even for minor mistakes. Tel's Tales 045– 2015 Season- 3 Sisters 12th April 2015 From being sunburnt and sweaty at Croft to being frozen silly at 3 Sisters was a shock to my delicate system and a few others as well. Tel's Tales 022: Thoresby Park 14th & 15th Sept 2013 Thoresby Park, run by Nottingham Sports car Club, has been supported by Westfield competitors for many years now and still has its challenges. TEL's TALES 06/17   3 Sisters 21st May 2017       As most of you know the future management/liquidity of the Three Sisters venue (or parts of it) are under review and it is to the credit of Longton DMC that they managed to keep this event on. Tel's Tales 039– Ty Croes, Anglesey 6th and 7th Sept 2014 The finals for this 2 day event saw 22 Westfield entrants if I include Marshall Rowland and Steve Davies in The Lotus Elise so it was a good turnout and promised some great competition in most classes. TEL's TALE's 060/16 Croft 28th March 2016 Easter Monday is always Croft sprint so most of us got loaded up on Sunday. I managed it just before we had thunder and lightening and a massive hailstorm so things did not look good for the morning.
