RobC
The sounds man is different to those who do track days... and yeah they are strict, but most of us pass the second time round... when he's failed everyone in the field.

Dodgey
Tempted to go the night before and sleep in my camper.... then again it's only about an hours drive, but even on track days, arriving early, it still seems too late once you've fannied around with the trailer etc. Hmm. Not sure I want to sleep in a race track car park. Looks like a 6am start!
FILFAN
I slept in the back of my defender at snetterton. Was an Experiance
RobC
I live an hour away and sleep there overnight... Usually turn up later on... quick beer and sleep in the back of the pickup... your right it is an experience, but you won't be rushing to get there... and panic when you do... just wake up, kettle on, roll car off trailer.. fail noise (lol) repack silencer etc... RobC
be aware dogs may not be allowed in the paddock... and Merlin Motorsport will be on hand for all you packing needs... which is very very handy some times
Dodgey
Looks like a small party is forming the night before... :-) Where do you park up? They must close the whole site at night? In the lane?

Mark (smokey mow)
Looks like a small party is forming the night before... :-) Where do you park up? They must close the whole site at night? In the lane? Previous years they have left the gate shut, but unlocked so we can get in the night before. I've a post somewhere from 2 years back about it, will see if I can find it Theres plenty of grass in the paddock to pitch a tent

Mark (smokey mow)
For anyone looking for a comfy nights sleep and don't fancy a tent, the travelodge just up the road at the services is currently only £23 for the night I've just booked my room

Dodgey
lol :-) Seriously - I only found two corners a little threatening at CC - the entry and particularly the exit of the main straight. Not that they are difficult corners, its just I wasn't / am not ready to go flat out round a corner at over 100 with no run off in a kit car.... :-p The other corners are more of a technical nature, though I guess if you go into the corner that follows the "1st" chicane too hot then I guess it would be "exciting".
