Speed Series Mentors

Scottish Bloke

Recommended Posts

A couple of years back, possibly longer we had a Speed Series Mentor Representative for each class. The mentors role was to be the nominated person in class to make themselves available to any New SS Competitors to answer any queries either via PM at events, filling in forms, technical help, anything related!

I was the mentor for one of the classes for a couple of years and it seemed to work quite well so I'd like to put myself forward as Class D mentor for the coming year if no-one else has issue with that.

You can contact me via this thread, PM me or drop me an email, rgkerr21@gmail.com or if your really lucky and have my number you can call me.

Perhaps we could remind everyone who the mentors are for the other classes or do we need new volunteers to take up the role.

No Terry even in my relative stupidity I've come to realise that there's no way I can keep pace with him drinking! Although now the blood should be flowing all the way around his body I might have to try again!  :p

We would need to start this off again and great to see Rich and Terry volunteering. All we need now is someone for classes C, E & F, although to be honest I am wondering if a more north / south mentor might work better, The classes are so similar that it really splits into roadgoing and none roadgoing.

I'm in class C and used to do it and I am happy to resume if required

as a mentor I think it only fair that you are limited to 75% throttle too. So us less experienced can see what your doing ;)

I always drive at 75% for you guys, although I'm going for 78% this year to try keep the jnr upstart at bay ;-)
