Mooch Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Don't ask me how this one came about, but: Brown bread Cottage Cheese Marmite Cucumber Salad Cream Best eaten alone - it's kinda sloppy but tastes great! Quote
Rusty Nuts Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Cheap thick white bread, pickle, jelly babies, marmalade, hard boiled egg and cheddar cheese (grated). Sounds awful, taste – acquired. Quote
adamnreeves Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 After years upon years of making boring sandwiches I've been experimenting and I think I have found the perfect filling Salami, blue stilton cheese thinly sliced gerkhins spiced piccalilli (Chilli-lilli) What's yours ? Are you pregnant? I tried a strange combination from up North once and tried beetroot with Cheese on wholegrain brown bread. Gotta say it was better than I thought it would be. Quote
Onliest Smeg David Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 What is my perfect sandwich? It's a movable feast! a tin of squid chunks in squid ink with mayo (also good on a packet of microwave rice for a quick meal) marmite with peanut butter stilton (that's been sat on the side maturing for a few days) with blackcurrent jam or simply real butter in slices of black olive chibatta ...and many more! Jelly babies..... might give it a go one day. Sounds as though this thread could do with some pictures of these culinary delights Quote
