Build Diaries And Tools

Yep, very good point gadgetman, I did that and got some detailed shots of electrical cable runs particularly in the tunnel and suspension set up with the widetrack etc. Amazing what you can confirm by a simple photo, probably why build diaries are good indicators.

Yep, build diary pics are useful, trouble is sod's law says the photos aren't usually high enough res to zoom in and see the one detail you actually need!

Taking photos at the factory was possibly the single best thing I did. :t-up: Especially as I had no access to any other built cars at that time.

Maybe second only to joining WSCC :d

One other positive to keeping a blog is that it helps you analyse your issues, it amazing how explaining a problem helps you to see diffidently. While going through my build I came in frustrated and with an issue a number of times, updated my blog and saw the solution.

I used the google blogger website, blogger.com, very easy to use, upload pictures and navigate.

Also Mark at the Factory is very helpful, I am lucky, I live close to the factory and pass it on the way to and from work so could pop in to ask questions or look at partly assembled cars, I heard Mark on the phone plenty of times going through problems.
