To all Westies going to Le Mans

Is it me  ?

Every morning I wake up to count down the days to the big event.

Call me sad but its a pilgramage isn't it ?

I can almost smell the burnt sausages and taste the Grand Cru Chateau Margaux ( eh Dave ? ).

I now just go to Arnage and Mulsanne and avoid the crush of the pits on the day but its still a fantastic weekend. I/ve even resorted to watching historic films to feed the habit - last month's Motorsport video was essential. The first Pernod at 4.30pm Sunday pm on the road south is just part of the le Mans experience.

What about a grand Westie barbie this year eh?

My thanks to everyone who has took the time to reply. Our latest plans are that four of us should be leaving Manchester for Folkstone on Wednesday. 3 Westfield’s and a campervan.

We aim to get an early train Thursday and take the day to travel across France arriving at Eccomoy late afternoon. It’s then pitching the tent before we check out this waitress.

Hope to see many Westfield’s on route, if your one be sure to stop for a chat and lets hope the sun shines on us all.
