Check out the Cadwell vids over on Fluke Motorsport. See how sideways GeeFin gets at the right hander after the hairpin (Barn Corner) on the "GeeFin Molten List 1A's" video. Scarey. I'd have been in the lake...........

Blatman wheres the lake at Cadwell?

Unless you mean the old toilets on the hillside on the left hand side of the start finish straight

Also the bend at the end of the start finish straight can be taken flat out [not by me yet been a passenger and it consentrats your mind]

should that read, could be taken flat out by that particular car on that day with their skill/tyres etc.

I wouldn't advocate everyone taking that flat out. I think I lifted just as I entered it, ready for the next 'chicane'

I thought outside Barn there was a lake or a stream (or some kind or watery hazard?) Perhaps I'm getting myself confused.....

And yes, care should be taken when proposing a method/speed/gear/etc for cornering, 'cos you never know..........

A certain Radical SR3 has lapped at 1:26 on a track day and thats fast.

Paul 14 days to go or 11 shifts

Blatman you are right. There is a small nature reserve with a lake on the left hand side as you exit Barn Corner at Cadwell Park. Most people don't see it as it is hidden behind the armco. I should know I used to work at Cadwell. Great circuit for Westfields as long as you are carefull in the Woodland Section.

Is it still there?

Also there used to be a small house on the exit of barn and a footbridge over Hall bends Iam I showing my age or did I start watching young.

I've been studying GeeFin's video in preparation, cos watching a few laps generally helps with a circuit you haven't done before. This one's just left me bl**** scared   Twisty as a twisty thing, up and down like a roller coaster, and such vast quantities of run-off ... not :0

Megablade becomes mobile chicane ... can't wait  Be gentle with me lads

tis a great track bob, there is more run off 'around the back' it's the tight section into the woods which is "interesting"

have fun!

OK, I've watched a couple of GeeFin's video's of Cadwell now, in conjunction with the Circuit Guides pages. Think I'm getting the hang of it now. Question is, do I have to do the hairpin sideways with full opposite lock? It doesn't say anything about that in the Circuit Guide ...  :0  :durr:

Yes if you have big balls.

No if you are a girl.

Easy just a little bit side ways.

Paul not long now.

Check out AA route finder  ;)

Don't forget to take your driving licence - They won't allow anyone on track unless they seen your licence  ;)
