Good day and really nice to put some names to faces

I had slight off on the last corner of the day and bashed up the nose cone, rad fixing and I think the steering arm. Haven't had time to have a good look apart from at the track but fingers crossed the rest look OK. It looks a bit sad sat in the garage with the rad hanging off :down: :(

Another good day at Cadwell once we got out on the track - change of plugs, split rad hose, no brake lights meant a few too many returns to the paddock and consequently we ended queuing more than we would have preferred.

Was amusing to watch my dad trying to sort his hands out on a D shaped steering wheel for the first time.

Was less amused when he and the MK1 escort decided they both wanted the line into park corner and I was thinking I was about to become a passenger of the other car.

Looks like you've all (mostly) had a good day. We'll have to try and get a Cadwell day sorted out next year for a mass invasion of Westys.

that last picture Phil I think is the Cayman that started the day quicker than me - and at the end of the day I could just about stay with him - so my balls must have grown bigger throughout the day

although my claim of 1.07 lap was clearly misguided :laugh:

I managed 149.03 which I'm very happy with and that's 10 secs off the xflow time

Even managed to get past the civic by the end of the day.

although on the Snetterton 300 link off their homepage it says that Snett is sold out - might be worth checking if you have not already done so??

psst Phil - I should have set my lap timer in the afternoon - might have got near your times as I was certainly running fair bit quicker later in the day
