Convoy departs to Drive through the lake district taking in a 'pass' or two along the way and enjoying the scenery. Then over the M6 and on to the Yorkshire Dales. Heading East to our overnight stop West(ish) of Harrogate.

Choice of accomodation. Lots of fuel/pee stops along the way.

June 1st 2003, Robin Hood's Bay, North Yorkshire.

Having left the Dales behind it's time to head over the M1 and on the North Yorkshire moors. Taking in the moor top roads and lesser known route to arrive on the East Coast at Robin Hood's bay for a late lunch on the Sunday.

OK, it was me that went the wrong way, I hasten to add I was only driving and I laid the blame on my navigator who smartly laid it back onto Studbuckles instructions/directions.

See you all in May, hopefully both days.

nothing wrong with the directions.... I suspect too much watching of the cycle wings was the cause of the problem.

Oh, and not keeping up  :p
