Booked this one as a m8 of mine has asked me to attend - I enjoyed this last time around so happy to have another go

RAF Whittering is about 10 mile north of Peterborough on the A1

Anyone else fancy it?

Me too, wanted to do the last one! I have Bedford booked for the 28th so hopefully I can get both of them done!

How was the circuit last time? Obviously pretty good as you're going back

yeah track is good as long as you dont mind airfield layout with the coned corners (I dont) - it is fairly short at 1.9 miles and there is only a couple of straights where I was hitting 100 ish before braking before the corners so you will find the tin tops get in the way a fair bit although it is fun threading your way through

typical airfield so you need to get your car taped up to protect it from stone damage

the facilities there are pretty much non existant - some grotty old bogs - last time there was a burger van there which was ok actually

but there is no building like many airfields were you can go for a sit down

Sounds ok, I'm in need of track experience anyway so it's unlikely I'll be held up by much!!

Hopefully availability will be ok for the next week or so when I'll have a better idea about the exhaust. If the cars ready then so will I be

there is already another westfield booked that is a friend of my m8 that is taking his 306 so we wont be totally alone

what exhaust did you go for? I have just fitted my westfield one and it has made a big difference - it took 3 weeks to arrive though

I went for the Carbon Westfield one in the end. Although the Wunoff was the best price, once I've added shipping and VAT there wasn't much in it.

The Westfield one comes with all the fitting kit so that saves me having to sort all that our as well.

They said three weeks to me and I ordered a week ago soooo should be fine. But..... They said three weeks on my wheels as well and that was 7 weeks ago now and still no sign of them. I think that's the supplier though and I've found the parts dept to be very good

I got the westfield standard 6" can - like you say it is a straight forward fit

made a big difference to the car / now I can hear squeaks and rattles that I never new existed :-)
