Lost My Spark, Found My Spark, And Now It Seems Ok.

Not anymore. Fitted the unit - still no spark. Started testing and get a spark at the coil HT lead but not at the plug lead.

New rotor arm a cap on its way. However I'm sure it's not the arm as it tests out OK. Can't see any fault with the cap.

Should be here by mid week so I'll find out soon enough.

Is suicide painless?

Oh dear Norman. You say the car has not been driven for a while so how old is the petrol? It does loose it's potency over time. Draining the old stuff and re-filling with fresh juice may be worth a try now.

that wont make it loose its spark or make it spark

It has been run. I went out in it, did 2 miles and then it stopped. There is no spark to the plugs.

The ignition amp had developed a fault and that has been repaired. They're now sending me a cap and rotor arm.

I have put some fresh petrol in. but it's not that.

I'll just have to accept that this is a bad year, like last wasn't bad enough.

SO, IS SUICIDE PAINLESS? What's your experience?

Steve, thanks for the thought. But how about the suicide question? Is it like spraying pepper spray in your eyes. If so I'll have to give up the idea.

From a friend who ditched in a helicopter, drowing is a very pleasurable way to go (He did survive, but only just)

Let me think about that, only got a small pond. Do you think that'll do?

Yup, only needs to be shallow. But you may need a hand to keep under if it is really shallow

Norm, we just blow everything out with an airline if it dont start... try that..... if the car wont run then air in the blood stream is quite painless (apparently) good luck with the BDR ;-)

Ok, so I fit the airline up my bum whilst I get into the pond.

Got it.
