Hope you had a good evening, at least the weather has been ok.

I fully intended to be there, in the tin top as I knew I wouldn't have the opportunity to get the car out as it's not kept at home But it was not to be, picked the youngest up from his grandmas at 4:45 took him to tae kwon-do, back home at 6 to swap kids and take eldest to rugby training. Sat and waited till 8pm for that to finish, got in van said to our lad where off to Skipton to meet the boys and he tells me he's got a load of homework so back home I went.

Been in the garage trying to sort out the manifold bolts which were replaced when the new engine was fitted.

Eureka found the problem, the bolts that were fitted are too short will order some new ones tomorrow.

Well another cracking get together. Nice to meet the guy who came from Stockport and MattyCatty and his missus - did you go back via Harrogate - a much better journey IMO. Marcus - Wayne says hello and I say why did you choose today to swap your cycle wings?? Paul H seemed to have collected a fair bit of cow sh!t on the way over but the Westy still looked good. In fact all the Westys looked good (apart from mine!) Nice to see Dave with his new Aprilia but it's a shame that the Dax Cossie has gone to a new owner. Dave told me that Glenn is on the point of selling his BEC - let's hope it stays in Yorkshire.

We all had good journeys to and fro - in fact on the way home I did not see another car travelling in the same direction - just magic - and all thanks to the footie! Beautiful evening and nice and warm too.

Steve suggested we do the same next month so that'll be on Wednesday 25 July!

Cracking run over and very warm nearly overheated in traffic at Preston and a BIG thankyou to Paul for depositing all the cow S@@t that was on the A59 on his wings :d it gave the rest of us a clear run :yes:
