jamie
sounds VFM. would it be a groupe booking or DIY ? when dates / how meny places needed heysham must be a 5 hour drive from kent at full bore so an early ferry crossing would be hard unless i stay over night near by jamie
hogman
I will organise everything for you all - see how nice am I?? Hopefully also if I book all together we might get some discount for the ferry - although have been told they are VERY tight!!! Plan is so far.... Day 1 - get the 17.15 ferry from Heysham - that should give everyone enough time to get there and meet up. Days 2,3 & 4 - blast around the island! Day 5 - get the 09.15 ferry back to Heysham for the big blast home! Date wise am looking at the Early-mid July area so not to confilict with other events on the island! Does anyone know the actual TT route?? Can you let me know? Cheers and what you all think? Kevin

jamie
Hogman Just remember this trip cannot clash for our annual pilgrimage to lemans week and have spoken to the wife today to say about the trip to IOM. And she said O! Another week away with the lads? Will there be any wife’s/girlfriends /secretary’s etc.then I could pretend it’s a nice trip with the wife with added, blatting / drinking /scudding and maybe joining the speed series jamie

windy
If you are planning on coming to watch the Speed Series events, Llhergy Frissel is on the TT course at "25" on the map. Creg-Ny-Baa is at "35" on the map a little way off the main road, the famous pub on the TT course is at the top of the hill on the hiilclimb. Sloc is situated off the TT course on the South West side of the island (not shown on the map). Better to come for the SS weekend. Was good earlier this year and was several weeks away from the Le Mans dates. Competitors to the IOM also receive slightly better rates for accomodation and ferry packages so it would be much better to compete there rather than just spectate. All you have to do is register for the SS (pre-registration forms available now) and join in with the friendly competition and socialising. It will also give a purpose to your visit if you are competing and make it much more enjoyable. Regards Windy
