hogman
Now then! Am planning a group Westie trip to the Isle of Man next year for some serious laps of the island. The plan will be to meet up in the lancs area (near the ferry), go for a blast out with the Manchester/Lancs area (anyone from there interested??) then get the ferry over to the Isle of Man for a couple of days of fun blasting round then back over the the mainland again! Anyone interested? Shouldnt cost too much, petrol food and the B&B's! What ya think? Already got some interest. Cheers Kevin

Mark Stanton
Just a thought the WSCC Speed Series usually gets invited over to the I of M for the Three Hills challenge in early May / late April - what about combining the two - drive the TT circuit and watch some motorsport - oh and the socialising
John Dolan - Wirral & North Wales AO
Kevin, Definitely interested. The roads are first class. The social life in the Isle of Man is second to none. Unfortunately the weather is, well, unpredictable to say the least. All in all, sounds fantastic. John.

Nick Algar - Competition Secretary
Simon, Andy's just got the speedo instructions from me and now his speedo isn't rrrrreeading fast, so "her indoors" let's him go a bit quicker. But speed series, that'll be fun. Nick
Bananaman
Andy... you going racing? you can't even keep up with 'my little x-flow' I may well embarass my self, but i will have FUN doing it "her indoors" let's him go a bit quicker. The old rev-limiter was gettting a bit jumpy following you down them twisty Lakes roads, mind you the back end did step out at one point only a little un but it was enough to make he go! The concrete tyres don't help, but the new AVS Sports should Sounds like I.O.M. Could be a blast Andy P.S. Simon i will give you a ring later on, due to be up at Plays-kool for around 5'ish! hogman
Looks like we have quite a few interested! hogman
I have some indicative costs for this tour.... Based on doing the tour in July and based on 2002 figures as the prices for 2003 havent been finalised yet..... Ferry crossing including car and 1 person - £148 B&B - £15-20pp pn = £80 max for 4 nights (have found the B&B's to be about £16 per night) Food/Beer - ?? Petrol - ?? So that gives alittle idea that it will be - about £230 plus food and petrol! It would be a 5 day trip with day 1 travelling to Heysham for the ferry and travelling over, days 2,3 & 4 having rides out etc and day 5 returning with the ferry and drive home. Sounds good and not too expensive really, so a quick count shows 6 or us initially - any more and what do the takers think about it? Let me know Cheers Kevin
