Buzzer Posted August 12, 2002 Share Posted August 12, 2002 Need some advice. Just been trying to sort out track day/airfield insurance cover. I really can't see some of the benifits of it. I have just got a quote from F&J. Value of cover 25K excess 3.9K liability for injury to passenger, but not for driver. cost £52. I could understand an excess on say 1.5 or 2K, but at nearly 4K it does not cover very much. and 25K top limit is too high.. for my car anyhow. Covers a total write-off only. Is it possible to totally write-off a car on a track day.....well I suppose it happens. So the mix on insurance is wrong.
