Now I'm not normally one to gloat, but 3 cars is a pretty p*** poor effort really.  I mean, all those members and they manage less cars than the Essex area alone !

Anyway, the three that were there made their presence known as the bl**** hooligans (I believe it's pronounced "w**ker" in French...) in the RED car kept haring up and down the road outside the campsite.  Every time he came past it was at full throttle !!  Most tedious !

Anyway, the various WSCC people who were down there seemed to enjoy themselves - I met up with Blatman a couple of times and saw Jamie's car on the Friday.  Also saw the chap with the 4.6 supercharged SEight - still as bonkers as ever !

I think the general feeling about the meal on Sunday everning was , dispite the good company , a rip off :arse: me thinks this venue will be in for a shock next year   :0 . I was talking to a chap that had stayed there for the last 9 years but will not next year, as all the prices had be hiked up  :( .btw does anybody know what happened to the young waitress that night :arse:  ;) ,I may have some info.

Come on, spill the beans !!

Have to agree about the meal - and as for the beer prices !!  :0

Will still stay at Ecommoy though - nice campsite and much cheaper than staying at the circuit.

I have no idea how much I paid for the meal, so their (overpriced?) beer was working.

The waitress - she had guys queueing up for her. I think she ended up with one of the Team Westfield guys didn't she?

Yes - a good tradition to have a sit-down meal after the event but I for one will  support a new venue if we attract the same numbers next year.

Perhaps we might get full glasses of beer as well!

The waitress - ah, perhaps I should have a word with my passenger ( Scott )  who came in at 4.00am with a wicked smile on his face. Speaking the lingo definately helps with the natives. - the smooth B!

Regards to all

Nick - have you seen what you started ?

Us guys from the midlands are so reserved and gentlemen certainly don't talk about what they have been upto.

We were in the two tents located next to the very sensible and quiet Essex team next to the fence - yes we heard the noisy red Westie too, and probably worst affexted when the bottle bank was emptied at 4,00am in the morning !

As I said to the private mail - the spots should appear in about 10 days - but probably cleared by June next year.

Diary dates are 14th / 15th June provisionally - to be confirmed by teh ACO.

Best wishes

Bryan C :)

Ah, you heard the bottle banks being emptied too. Sheesus! And all the cocks crowing!?

Still, quieter than camping on the circuit.

And standing on those grilles in the showers is so much fun...

Cheers,

Al (Orange 'blade engined car that was at Eccomoy)
